At Troficolor, denim is more than just a fabric. Since 1956, it has been a work of art meticulously created by the skilled hands of our people that result in carefully thought-out processes. Behind each piece there is a story of dedication, innovation and attention to detail. This article is an invitation to get to know the backstage of Troficolor’s production, where each step is essential to ensure the quality and authenticity that characterize our products.

Rigorous material selection: the beginning of the process

Troficolor always selects the best raw materials, from the best quality cottons, with GOTS / OCS / GRS / RCS certification, as well as BCI cotton, to innovative and environmentally responsible fibres such as Tencel, Flax and Hemp. We thus reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and responsible agricultural practices from the beginning of our production process. Each roll of fabric is rigorously inspected to ensure that it meets the high standards that define our brand and are required by our clients.

Innovative fabrics: on the path to differentiation

Once the raw materials are selected, we enter the fabric development phase. Here, innovation and tradition go hand in hand because of our 68 years of accumulated experience and knowledge. Our design and development team works tirelessly to find fabrics that are in line with global fashion trends, but are also sustainable and durable. We are always looking for new textures, colours and finishes, ensuring that each collection is unique and impactful.

Manufacturing: the precision of the details

Troficolor’s production of denim garments results from the combination of craftsmanship and technological precision. Our partners, many with decades of experience, work with state-of-the-art machines to cut and sew each piece exactly. Every stitching, every button, every detail is done with the utmost precision, ensuring that the final product not only looks flawless, but is also sturdy and comfortable. And so our samples are born so that clients can have a sensory and visual experience of our fabrics.

Washing and special finishes: Troficolor’s expertise

After manufacturing, the pieces go through washing and finishing processes that give denim a unique personality. Whether it’s through the use of pumice stones to create a distressed effect or eco-friendly dyeing techniques, each finish is designed to highlight the natural beauty of the fabric while minimizing environmental impact. Troficolor is known for its expertise in creating authentic washes that capture and maintain the essence of denim.

Quality Control: ensuring the continuity of 68 years of history

All fabrics, before being sent to our clients, go through a rigorous quality control. This is a crucial step to ensure that they are in line with Troficolor’s high standards of excellence.

Sustainability: present throughout the process

Sustainability is a central pillar at every stage of our production: from saving water used In the washing process to recycling textile waste, every process is optimised to reduce our environmental impact. In addition, we work daily to make our teams aware of the need to change consumption habits at home and in the company and behaviours when it comes to the creation of our products through Design Thinking.
